TeachingBooks: Search for info about books and authors
Looking for information about books, authors, or illustrators? TeachingBooks is an online database provided through LearnAlberta.ca. You can find links to author websites, audio book readings, and book guides (suitable for all grades). Types of books include graphic novels, historical fiction, adventure, mysteries, poetry, science fiction, and non-fiction.
To use:
- Enter keywords (for example, a book title) in the search field beside the word "Go" at the bottom of the box.
- Select appropriate button (Author, Title, or Subject).
- Click "Go". A new window will open with your results.
From school, you will be able to access results without logging in. From home, you can see results but will need to log in to view a resource (username and password info available at the Library).
