Weekly Update October 17-21

There are only 14 days left of this term!  Last day for grade 9's is Thursday November 3rd as it is "Take your kid to work day" on Friday November 4th.  If you your son or daughter has not returned that form yet, please do so immediately!

This week students are working on their final modules.  The final module focuses on the meat group and the fruits/veggies group.  There is a major assignment portion where students will research organic and GMO foods and come to their own personal opinion about the topic (2 parts: one paragraph, other picture collage)

Please don't forget to bring $5 for the pumpkin lantern festival carving party on Thursday October 27th.

Any students who complete their module early, may have the opportunity to make sugar cookie dough for the Remembrance Day Service hosted by the Cochrane Legion.

What's Cooking This Week:

Monday October 17: AM Class, Pretzel demo.  Both AM/PM classes module work.

Tuesday October 18: AM Class: Pretzel cooking lab.  PM class module work

Wednesday October 19: Module work

Thursday October 20: Module work

Friday October 21: Module work.  Due today for both classes.

We are cooking all next week!
