December 15 - 19

Last week before school vacation and it is a BUSY one!

Parent teacher interviews were held last week.  If you missed it and would like to schedule an appointment, please contact me by email: czunti@rockyview.ab.ca.   I am available after school from 3:30 until 4.   

Monday December 15:  Source Analysis test.  Students were given 24-48 hours to prepare for this test.  The source and planner were available for students to analyze.  They are allowed to bring in ONE sheet (single-sided) of notes during the exam.  The page MUST have notes, not a fully written assignment.

Tuesday December 16:  Unit 2 Exam: Imperialism.   Study guide has been available on Moodle for all students since December 5th.  Students were given an entire class to prepare for the exam.  All other studying is expected to be completed on their own time.  My class has been and will be open during lunch for any students who require extra study help.

Wednesday December 17:  Continuation of Economics.  Economic note taking (discussions), research, and trading re-enactment.  Homework assignment due Friday December 19th.

Thursday December 18:  Avatar Film..... culmination activity that highlights Imperialism    

Friday December 19:  Avatar Film.... culmination activity that highlights Imperialism.   

Any students who HAVE outstanding assignments will not be allowed to watch the film until their assignments are completed.  Once completed, they will rejoin the class.
