Program Summary

CALM 20 (Career and Life Management) is a required course for high school graduation and as part of BVHS High School Redesign we have chosen to embed CALM over the course of three years; grade nine, grade ten and culminating in grade eleven. Instead of a separate course, the learning objectives for CALM will be met in three ways: 1. First, selected cross-curricular assignments in each of the five core courses. 2. Second, required presentations and workshops will be scheduled during the school year. 3. Thirdly, the completion of a My Blue Print personal portfolio. This delivery will provide more flexibility in timetabling and establish an important personal connection to the material students study in school.
